Atlas of Biomass of RS

The geophysical characteristics and the prominence in the agroindustry sector contribute to Rio Grande do Sul's high potential for the production of biogas and biomethane. Thinking about expanding the supply of energy and fuel from this clean and renewable source, the Secretariat of Mines and Energy and Sulgás, with a technical survey carried out by the Univates University Center, began the preparation of the Biomass Atlas, a broad study on the regions potential for biogas and biomethane production in RS.
