Renewable Energies

The program RS Renewable Energies (RS Energias Renováveis) is targeted to the development of the regional electric sector, by means of incentives to renewable energy sources, aiming at the diversification of the electric network and the achievement of autonomy in energy supply. The funding provided by the program is granted to entrepreneurs willing to invest in projects aimed to convert sources of renewable energy into electricity. The benefits are exclusively destined to companies, according to the installed generation capacity established by the program. Distributed microgeneration and minigeneration are not included, and are regulated by ANEEL Normative Resolution 687, of November 24, 2015, including benefits established by ordinance no 538, of December 15, 2015.
