State Program of Grain Drying and Storage in Farms

The State Program of Grain Drying and Storage in Farms (Programa Estadual de Secagem e Armazenagem de Grãos na Propriedade Rural – RS Mais Grãos) was created with the purpose of stimulating production diversity in small and medium farms, especially those dedicated to tobacco production. The program supports investments in the expansion, modernization and adaptation of tobacco greenhouses, so that they can also be used to dry other grains, e.g. corn and beans, during their idle period (nine months of the year).
