Support Program for Technological Poles


The objective of this program is to disseminate innovations to the predominant productive sectors in each region through stimulation, support and coordination of the integration between universities, research centers, productive sector and society, focusing on the development of innovative technologies suitable for the different vocations of RS. The program already supports 25 technology centers throughout Rio Grande do Sul, focusing on the following areas of knowledge:

  • Agribusiness, Agriculture, Food, Fishing and Aquaculture, Biotechnology in Agriculture and Forest Engineering
  • Environment, Biotechnology, Energy, Telecommunications and Renewable Fuels
  • Engineering, Materials, Carbochemistry and Mining, Ceramics, Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallic and Semiconductor Nanostructures
  • Information Technology, Automation, Electronics and Mechatronics
  • Design, Leather and Footwear, Furniture, Tourism, Textiles, Stones, Gems and Jewelry
  • Industrial Development and Modernization
  • Mechanical metal
  • Health

In 2015, 13 more projects were agreed, with more than R$ 5 million available for their execution.
