The State Program for the Development, Coordination and Quality of the Agroindustrial Beef, Sheep and Buffalo Meat System – Agregar–RS Carnes was created with the objective of increasing slaughter carried out under official sanitary inspection and increasing the development and competitiveness of the production chain. of the flesh. It seeks to enable technical and financial improvements that can modernize the meat segment in the State.

Qualified companies are granted a presumed credit of 3.6% on the value of the entry invoice for cattle purchased from a producer in RS and a special additional benefit of presumed credit of 4% on internal outputs, resulting from the sale or transfer to an establishment from the same company, meat and edible products resulting from the slaughter of cattle, sheep or buffalo. The estimated presumed tax credit is reduced to 3% if said products are not packaged in cuts, as provided for in instructions from the State Revenue Service.
