Chemical pole in RS gets off the ground with the construction of its first industry


In November, the earthworks began on two lots with a total area of ​​seven hectares in the Integrated Chemistry Complex, which will be occupied by the company Hipermix for the construction of a cement and mortar factory. The work marks the beginning of works on the new complex located in Montenegro-RS and strategically next to the Petrochemical Complex of Triunfo.

In the 700 hectares of the Polo, around 35 lots are available for industries, in addition to another 66 lots in a neighboring area, in Triunfo, for companies. The implementation of the new Pole, the result of a partnership between the State Government, the Municipalities of Montenegro and Triunfo and the private sector, arouses the interest of other companies that have sought out the Municipality of Montenegro and the Secretariat of Economic Development and Tourism of RS in search of information about the incentives to be granted for installation and ready for forwarding your projects. One of the incentives is the possibility of carrying out earthworks through municipal laws.

The Polo that is starting to become a reality will be officially presented to investing companies in a live on the YouTube channel of the Polo Integrado da Química RS, on December 10th, at 4 pm, with the expected participation of Governor Eduardo Leite and the group that coordinates the project represented by the Union of Chemical Industries of RS (Sindiquim), Committee for Industrial Development of the Petrochemical Complex (COFIP) and Braskem. The objective is to show the advantages and opportunities of installing in the Pole, which is characterized by the creation of an environment of competitiveness and innovation in an ecosystem aimed at strengthening the sector's industry and generating solutions for a better quality of life for people in balance with the environment. The event will have the support of the Brazilian Chemical Industry Association (Abiquim).

The Integrated Chemistry Pole is the result of a partnership between the State Government, through the Secretariat for Economic Development and Tourism of RS (Sedetur), Municipalities of Montenegro and Triunfo and private initiative - Union of Chemical Industries of RS (Sindiquim), Committee for the Industrial Development of the Petrochemical Complex (COFIP) and Braskem.

With an area of ​​700 hectares, in Montenegro, it is strategically located next to the Triunfo Petrochemical Complex. Officialized in 2019, it is located in a region with an industrial vocation, with an advanced energy and logistics infrastructure and space available for expansion. In addition, it offers a special condition for the sustainable development of companies thanks to the support of State and Municipal Environmental legislation and a green belt that has preserved the surroundings from the advance of urbanization.
